p>As the Operations Engineer - Electrical, AMER you are responsible for critical electrical assets within our regional data centers, ensuring the optimal availability of our technical services and electrical assets throughout their lifecycle, taking into consideration health, safety, environment, costs, investments, and customer requirements. This position will have overall responsibility for all electrical aspects of our regional data centers including, but not limited to, planned and corrective maintenance, technical documentation, review of proposed operational procedures, initial analysis of in-service failures, associated project work, and overall system health.
p>Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Performing technical analysis of and leading projects involving the design, development, or modification of real-time electrical power control systems; AND 2) Experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and documenting application or scripting code (e.g., C/C++, Python, C#, Java, or structured text, net and blazer) specifically for real-time operations, control systems, or industrial hardware integration AND 3) Developing technical software/system specifications, evaluating vendor proposals or system performance against requirements, and coordinating with other technical disciplines to resolve complex engineering and cybersecurity compliance challenges (e.g., NERC CIP or NIST guidelines). Related Curriculum -- Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelors degree in an appropriate scientific field, e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a bachelors degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least 1 year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance.
