Responsibilities: Oversees and drives the day to day performance of your team through leadership and interaction with all associatesDrives for continual improvement in all safety-related responsibilities through warehouse operationsCoach a team of highly motivated associates and provide daily feedback on performance and propose solutionsAbility to define and communicate to your team the daily objectives, long-term strategies, and changes in procedural processesEffectively work with peers on people development and building cross-functional teamsFlexibility to work various shifts, as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAble to work with suppliers, 3PL operations, transportation, and internal customers on the best possible solution for the business and company initiativesUse various metrics to analyze performance resultsProvide regular performance updates to the senior leadership teamPerform other duties as assigned by leadership. The Warehouse Supervisor is fully responsible for safety, quality, departmental efficiency, customer service, scheduling, sanitation, payroll/overtime, daily start-up meetings, and any other related distribution activity within their department.
