Position has a great deal of interaction with hospital CEOs, COOs and the remainder of the hospital department leadership Manages each design and construction project assigned, from the project scope inception, initial budget creation, and schedule definition, through each stage of procurement required by policy, and management of design, consultant involvement, construction, user coordination, approvals, FFE procurement and installation, and other components for a complete occupancy and close out of a project. Participates in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for major construction projects; provides conceptual estimates, feasibility studies and cost estimates, total project scheduling, and coordination in the production of basic design plans and construction documents.
