nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n Design and develop efficient and cost-effective circuits and power supplies per customer and regulatory specifications (i.e., analog and digital circuits, embedded controls logic, magnetics, EMI filters, power circuits, etc.) including, schematic capture, board layout, prototype testing, and bench testing code development\n Interface with internal departments to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met\n Develop analytical models, simulation tools and other predictive methods to reduce changes on subsequent iterations of each design\n Participate as an active part of the core team to meet schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction goals\n Assist in the development, testing, and de-bugging of prototype power supply units.\n Working knowledge of Database, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team; consistent demonstrated ability to meet schedule requirements and define priorities without direct supervision\n \nEXPERIENCE:\n \nEssential:\n\n 8+ years of experience in electronics design or similar experience\n \nDesirable:\n\n Experience with Mathcad, Cadence or Altium, Spice based circuit simulation, and scripting/test generation software\n \nEDUCATION:\n\n Bachelor's (BSEE) degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience\n \nCOMPENSATION: \n \nAs required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.
