Oversee and, when necessary, assist with startup and functional testing of mechanical equipment and systems including AHUs, RTUs, VAV systems, split systems, pumps, VFDs, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, hydronic systems, compressors, fans, exhaust systems, makeup air systems, domestic water systems, and associated controls. Work Environment: Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places (job sites) and/or an office environment with conditioned air and bright lights.
