The Applicant must meet the criteria to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC ) as required by USCG/DHS regulations • Current Drivers License Competencies, Skills, abilities: • Good oral and written communications • Must be proficient in the use of computers and applications • Ability to preform job duties with little or no supervision • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Ability to work safely with emphasis on following procedures and management practices • Must be a problem solver with the ability to find resolutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment , apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools • Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem • Connect wires to circuit transformers, or other components.
