This includes: assisting in the development of the County Emergency Operations Plan; consulting, advising, enforcing and monitoring SARA title III hazardous materials; coordinating and managing emergency and disaster situations; planning and coordinating disaster mitigation planning and projects; planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining a series of Countywide emergency response plans that addresses mitigation, response, and recovery; assists in serving in various roles within the Emergency Operations Center during a disaster; consulting with nursing homes, hospitals, schools, etc. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with emergency agencies and personnel, volunteer emergency service organizations, public officials at the local/state/federal levels, business and community leaders and organizations, other department heads, management, and employees.
