High school graduate or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified State of Ohio Firefighter Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified State of Ohio EMT-B Minimum of a 40-hour certification as a Hazardous Materials Technician Must have or be able to obtain the following certifications: • State of Ohio Firefighter II • State Fire instructor • State EMT instructor • CPR instructor • State HazMat Technician Instructor • Texas A&M Instructor • State of Ohio Fire Inspector Must possess mechanical aptitude to understand and troubleshoot fire protection and security systems Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Skills to effectively communicate and train all levels of the organization. As an Emergency Response & Security Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, overseeing maintenance on plant security systems, fire protection systems, response equipment, managing training of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO), and working with outside agencies to help protect the Lubrizol Painesville facilities from potential threats to employees, property, information, security, surrounding community, and the environment.
