Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including employee concerns, performance issues, and workplace conflictConduct fair, thorough, and confidential investigations and fact-finding related to employee complaints and concernsProvide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, corrective action, and disciplinary processesPartner closely with People Support Services leadership to support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiativesSupport employee engagement efforts, including employee surveys and follow-up action planningPromote and model organizational values related to access, belonging, inclusion, diversity, and equity in all interactionsMaintain a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee informationCollaborate with HR leadership to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies and employment laws. 3+ years of Employee Relations experience (required)Bilingual in Spanish is a plusBackground as an HR Generalist or HR Manager with strong ER exposure is highly preferredExperience with investigations, performance management, and employee coachingKnowledge of HR policies and labor/employment lawStrong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skillsApproachable, calm, and easy to talk to—someone employees trustPrior nonprofit or education-based experience is a plusSHRM or HR certification preferred, but not required.
