Complies with programs as defined in hospital policies and procedures such as medication administration process, endotracheal intubation (both orotracheal), surgical cricothyroidotomy, thoracostomy, transport ventilator use, rapid sequence induction administration, safe use of restraints, use of I.V. infusion pumps, spinal immobilization techniques, and communication among caregivers. Ensures that the transport vehicle is serviceable by checking all warning devices and overall serviceability of the vehicle, this includes but not limited to: fluid levels, fuel levels, emergency warning devices, lights, etc.
