Summary Description: Under direction of the school principal and special education supervisor, the special education teacher provides direct instruction and instructional support to students with disabilities and works in collaboration with the general education teacher. Job Specific Information: Social emotional special education services are developed and implementer throughout MCPS for students are experiencing social, emotional and behavioral challenges which interfere with their learning and access to the general education curriculum.
