Your responsibilities will include: Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (LPTA) Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas is required Associate Degree from a PTA program as a minimum, is required A minimum of 1-2 years Experience in a rehab setting required Must be able to pick up weekdays and rotating weekends Benefits Rio Grande Regional Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
