Responsibilities include analyzing coverage, preparing and issuing coverage position letters, reservation of rights letters, and disclaimers , managing tender situations , and applying knowledge of the Carmack Amendment and Graves Amendment when evaluating liability exposures. The consultant will also investigate and adjust cargo and physical damage claims , effectively triage claims based on severity and complexity, and develop appropriate handling strategies to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective claim resolution.
