As an Entry Level Bench Operator (Component technician apprentice) you'll set up and operate a variety of hand tools such as hammers, files, drills, presses, pedestal grinders and belt grinders, low temperature ovens and hand grinders to perform various operations such as grinding, blasting & stripping, chasing threads, deburring, angle checking, coldworking metals, masking. What you'll do: Conduct sheet metal forming and blending on a variety of Turbine engine components utilizing a belt sander pneumatic tools and pedestal grinders and various hand tools and fixturing aids, using the correct blending materials and techniques to restore the correct profile and contour of the Turbine Engine hot section turbine components per the Engine Manuals.
