Basic understanding of total quality management systems and tools, such as systematic problem-solving, root cause analysis, process design, demand flow, bills of material structure, process plans, routings, and Value Stream Mapping. The intern will help implement operating procedures and improvement projects that support production, safety, quality, throughput, productivity, first-pass yield, cost reduction, and on-time performance objectives.
