The selected applicant for this position should possess experience in conducting routine inspections for compliance involving purchase order contracts, communicating with contractors, general public, and other government agencies, experience in the use of computer equipment and software such as Microsoft Office, SAP, MMS, and reading/interpreting roadway construction, pavement marking, traffic signal, and signing plans. Duties include preparation and administration of various purchase order contracts, maintaining an aggressive safety program for the Traffic Services Units, preparing draft traffic control plans, and assisting with collecting data for traffic speed studies.
