Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: • New business acquisition, proposal, and special projects support • Support Functional Engineering initiatives • Assist with staff workload forecast preparation • Identifying and implementing new or improved tools and processes to increase team efficiency • Acquire the necessary computers, equipment, and tools to enable the team to accomplish their assigned job • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems • Leads Engineering teams with program execution • Mentor Engineers on all phases of the Program • Creates, reviews, and maintains critical documentation • Strong interpersonal skills • Supports the software department, software center, and software sector in their day-to-day activities. Basic Qualifications: Must either have a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development, OR a Master's degree Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a PhD Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and 4 years of experience that includes a background in software development.
