Commitment to providing a world-class education to students from historically underserved communities • Provide inclusionary instruction and support to ELL students • Work with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction • Understand and comply with the policies, rules, and regulations regarding English learners • Attend IEP, Section 504, or other related meetings necessary for student assessment and/or compliance with federal and/or state law as it relates to English Learners • Provide instruction that is aligned with the Friendship Network's instructional program so as to ensure ELL students meet and/or exceed grade level learning targets • Develop and deliver lesson plans that utilize a broad range of appropriate teaching techniques and strategies • Maintain complete and accurate records of student progress and evidence by progress notes, report cards, etc. Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver lesson plans utilizing a broad range of appropriate differentiated techniques and strategies addressing all aspects of communication that develop each student's ability to read, write, speak, and listen in content areas at levels that ensure learners meet or exceed learning targets, and allow English learners to meaningfully access the district's instructional program.
