Effectively performs scheduled floor cleaning, which includes stripping, scrubbing, finishing, shampooing, and extracting in a timely manner (includes working other shifts for annual floor maintenance) following all unit specific guidelines giving attention to detailed areas such as baseboards, corners, carpet stains, etc. Responsible for total sanitation, floor care, preparation and organization of patient rooms, floors, bed set-ups, and ancillary areas; all calls, designating workload, ensuring coverage of all departments/units, and completing schedule yourself if coverage not available.
