Bilingual (English & Spanish) Mental Health Graduate Clinical Traineeship North Marin Community ServicesBilingual (English & Spanish) Mental Health Graduate Clinical TraineeshipSan Rafael, CAPart timeProvides brief interventions, as well as scheduled individual and family therapy, both at assigned school site(s) and at the agency, as appropriate; Provides group therapy and targeted/thematic groups as appropriate (i.e. CBITS or Bounce Back groups, gender-based groups, social skills and life skills groups, mindful mood/DBT groups, art therapy groups, and more); Provides crisis intervention and follow-up as needed in coordination with clinical supervisor, including conducting risk assessments, developing care and safety plans, calling mobile crisis support and/or local law enforcement, if needed; Consults with principal, schoolteacher, school psychologist, and others to provide continuity of services between mental health and educational resources and objectives. Assesses needs, locates and arranges for appropriate referrals of clients as needed; Participates in Student Study Team (SST) meetings, Individual Education Plans (IEP), as well as other school meetings as needed; Collaborates and maintains collateral contacts with school and community resources, including school resource officers, county, court, and probation officers, in addition to parents and significant others.
