The EBC Rep will coordinate intra-departmentally and inter-departmentally with physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses, clerical personnel and internally with parents and externally with NJDOHSS and City of Long Branch bureau of Vital Statistics representatives to ensure completeness and accuracy of all information required by the EBC program. Will educate parents regarding NJDOHSS and Federal birth certificate regulations and paternity guidelines, assist parents in completing the required forms, accurately enter the data into the EBC program, coordinate certification of birth by physician or mid level practitioners, print and review birth certificate with parents, and upon completion send birth certificates to the City of Long Branch Bureau of Vital Statistics.
