The facility is located in Rock Falls, Illinois.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>The primary responsibilities of the Plant Engineer are the technical support of Invenergy’s thermal gas fired power plants, evaluate plant performance and initiate corrective action and provide maintenance support and recommendations.</p><p>The Plant Engineer is a direct report to the Plant Manager, and is responsible for the following:</p><ul><li><p>Ownership of all plant permits, sampling and testing requirements associated with these permits, and reporting to the applicable regulators.</p></li><li><p>Interaction with local, state and federal regulators to resolve permit issues.</p></li><li><p>Perform engineering analysis and develops recommendations to improve or maintain generating plant efficiency, reliability, safety and cost performance.</p></li><li><p>Administer HRSG/Steam Piping code (ASME/ANSI) repair program.</p></li><li><p>Administer natural gas pipeline reliability, safety and compliance program. Develop and administer the in-house training of plant personnel on required gas pipeline safety.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and evaluate plant performance and initiates corrective action (plant performance monitoring).
