Physical Requirements: This position may require strenuous fieldwork under varying site and weather conditions, including standing, crouching, sitting, lifting equipment and sample coolers weighing 1 to 50 pounds, moving soil with shovels or hand augers, and potential exposure to natural and chemical hazards. Duties will include performing routine, well-defined field and office assignments (technical and non-technical) including planning, conducting, and reporting on field investigations involving well installations, soil and groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and hydrogeology.
