For each of the fall and spring semesters, the Lecturer is expected to teach three undergraduate lecture-based and/or laboratory courses related to chemical engineering, including topics such as mass and energy balances, thermodynamics, separations, reaction engineering, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, unit operations, and related core chemical engineering areas. The BS program in the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission's General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical, Biochemical, Biomolecular and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
