The Compliance Officer, U.S. Central Functions, together with the entire U.S. Compliance team, is also responsible for driving the mission of Global PMI Compliance to: Empower and enable management, employees, and close third parties to meet applicable external (legal, regulatory, and industry) and internal (policy) requirements by providing them with the tools, knowledge and advice to do their jobs in an ethical and compliant way. Since 2008, PMI has invested $12.5 billion globally to develop, scientifically substantiate and commercialize innovative smoke-free products for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke with the goal of transitioning legal-age consumers who smoke to better alternatives.
