<strong>Description</strong><br/><p><b><u>Summary:</u></b></p><p>Directs and supervises nursing service and activities during evening, night, and weekend hours.</p><p><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><ul><li>Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performances and makes recommendations for personnel actions.</li><li>Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.</li><li>Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department.</li><li>Administers the nursing program during the evening, night and weekend shifts and coordinates activities. Promotes cooperation of the staff to achieve department objectives and maintain good department relations.</li><li>Makes complete rounds of all units and notes patients’ condition where appropriate.</li><li>Assists attending physicians and aides patients and families as needed in times of stress or crisis.</li><li>Arranges emergency surgery and other services; participates in and evaluates all codes on his/her shift.</li><li>Monitors and ensures accuracy of recording on patient medical records where appropriate. Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
