Overview:
The Event Staff is the primary contact with the guests at the facility. Required to have knowledge of the building and its services also to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons.<a href="http://www.spectraexperiences.com/" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer" style="color:#000000" target="_blank"></a> This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00-$12.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching  EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Event Staff will work one of the following positions: Ticket Taker, Usher, Security, and Parking</li><li>Enthusiastically greet and direct guests while performing assigned tasks (i.e. ticket scanning, directing guests to their seats, providing directions)</li><li>Provide KCAC guests with accurate event and venue information.</li><li>Identify and respond to emergencies according to emergency protocols. Involve event Supervisor or Manager as needed</li><li>Proactively approach guests that may have an issue and/or complaint</li><li>Creatively resolve issues/complaints and involve event Supervisor or Manager as needed</li><li>Other duties as assigned by management </li><li>Must be able to work outside in any weather conditions (Parking & Security)</li><li>Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience in prior customer service preferred</li><li>Demonstrated strong customer service skills</li><li>Must have a friendly disposition and a smile</li><li>Must be able to stay calm in stressful, fast-paced situations </li><li>Experience dealing effectively with conflict</li><li>Ability to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to darkened corridors, around crowds, loud noise, flashing lights, and haze effects</li><li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.</li></ul>
