Position Summary:
As a Premium Runner, Hospitality you’ll play a key role in delivering elevated service to our premium guests in Suites, Clubs, Loges & Restaurants. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at PeoplesBank Arena. This role pays an hourly rate of $19.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

The PeoplesBank Arena is Connecticut’s premier destination for sports & entertainment. The 15,000+ seat downtown arena is home to the eleventh-time National Champion UConn Women's Basketball team and the six-time National Champion UConn Men's Basketball team. Led by Hall of Fame basketball Head Coach Geno Auriemma and Dan Hurley, the Men's & Women's basketball programs have established themselves as national powerhouses. The PeoplesBank Arena is also home to the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, the primary developmental affiliate of the New York Rangers. The PeoplesBank Arenaentertains millions of visitors annually with a variety of concerts, family shows, ice-skating spectaculars, consumer events, and trade shows throughout the season. The venue has played host to an extraordinary roster of world-renowned artists, including Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Pearl Jam, Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Drake, and many others. The PeoplesBank Arena will continue to be the center of sports and entertainment for Hartford and the State of Connecticut for years to come.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Deliver timely, accurate, and professional service to guests in premium seating areas</li><li>Ensure all food and beverage items are neatly presented and delivered with care</li><li>Monitor assigned sections and maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment</li><li>Stock and replenish stations (ice, cups, mixers, napkins, etc.) as needed</li><li>Communicate effectively with servers, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service</li><li>Support event setup, service, and teardown across premium spaces</li><li>Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and sanitation standards</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory and requisition supplies as needed</li><li>Possess full knowledge of menu items and accompaniments</li><li>Ensure all areas have appropriate serving ware and are cleaned post-event</li><li>Maintain operable and sanitized equipment in assigned areas</li><li>Other duties as assigned by supervisors or management</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Exceptional communication skills and a guest-first attitude</li><li>Previous experience in fast-paced, high-volume service environments preferred</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Comfortable with physical duties, including walking, standing, lifting, and bending</li><li>Experience in arena or live event food & beverage service is an asset</li><li>Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedule</li></ul>

Overview: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers and equipment maintenance.

Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents. 

Overview:
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business.  The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends.  Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and independent decision-making skills are required.  This role pays an hourly rate of $16.94 (per CBA). Benefits as per the union agreement. This position will remain open until June 19, 2026.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for assisting with product purchasing/ordering, receiving and distribution control for the venue.</li><li>Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.</li><li>Fulfills all event expectations including but not limited to requisitioning during events, post-event break down, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation and maintenance. </li><li>Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain integrity of product.</li><li>Ensure proper transfer process of product between locations, including follow-up documentation. </li><li>Assists in performing routine maintenance.</li><li>Responsible for concession and utility equipment cleaning and maintenance: portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting. Ensure manifested equipment is in location.</li><li>Evaluate warehouse employee performance. </li><li>Maintain employee records, written warnings, reviews and other related documents.</li><li>Conduct walk through of the commissary, warehouse and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>2 years foodservice / hospitality experience preferred; similar venue experience a plus.</li><li>Flexible work schedule. Must be able to work some weekends.</li><li>Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking.</li><li>Ability to work in both weather-related and non-weather-related cold environments.</li><li>Capable of maintaining safety and productivity on wet or slippery surfaces.</li><li>Willingness to work around extremely hot equipment and surfaces.</li><li>Ability to navigate and perform tasks within pinch points and confined spaces throughout the building.</li><li>Tolerance for working in environments with elevated noise levels.</li></ul>
