CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that only authorized students, faculty, and staff with valid LECOM ID cards are admitted to the suite during evening hours; Ensure that all students sign-in upon entry and sign-out upon exit; Make periodic rounds to ensure that all facilities are being used appropriately; Ensure that there is no food or drink in PBL rooms; Utilize good judgment in dealing with any problems and in contacting SHU Police and/or supervisor, as needed; Maintain a professional relationship with students; Report any problems via written and/or verbal reports; Ensures compliance with Internal, State, and Federal Regulations, including FERPA; Follows proper OSHA and safety guidelines; Properly use, maintain, and protect equipment; Contribute directly to the Mission of LECOM embodying the essence of Osteopathic Principles and Practices by assisting with Institutional fundraising and participating in the LECOM Scholarship Auction; Participate in scholarly activity so to enrich and broaden the student learning experience; Commit to being a representative of LECOM by being actively involved in the community, including, but not limited to, serving on Boards, participating in community fundraisers and overall outreach; and. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Must possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
