At the Wilmington Campus, operations run through a network of inpatient pharmacies, including a central pharmacy and satellite pharmacies that focus on critical care, emergency medicine, heart failure, investigational drugs, oncology, perioperative services, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and trauma. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Review and interpret provider's medication orders, evaluate drug efficacy, therapeutic goals and indications, review for contraindications/precautions, the patient's current status of health, and review drug profiles and patient's medical record for drug-drug, drug-food, drug-laboratory and drug-disease state(s) potentials.
