Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with a nurse preceptor and nurse educator along with an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse Resident utilizes evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, and policies and procedures of the hospital. The Hospital of Central CT is part of Hartford HealthCare, a system that includes 7 acute care hospitals, a comprehensive Behavioral Health Network, Home Care services, Senior Services, and an extensive Medical Group network.
