Location : Daytona Beach Job Type: Staff - Full-Time Job Number: 202500308 Department: IT-Networking Opening Date: 04/07/2026 Closing Date: Continuous Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Associate degree (or higher) in event management, a technical field, or a closely related area, plus 2+ years of related experience. </li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Be the go-to person on site for event technology-audio, video, basic networking, and webcasts. </li><li>Support live events from start to finish (set up, monitor during the event, and troubleshoot issues quickly). </li><li>Meet with clients to understand what they want the event to achieve and what technical support is needed. </li><li>Check and maintain A/V systems (displays, mics, speakers, control panels, and conference tools) to keep them working well. </li><li>Stay up to date on new A/V tools and suggest upgrades or improvements when they make sense. </li><li>Write and update simple instructions and troubleshooting notes so others can support the systems consistently. </li><li>Other special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee. </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:<ul><li>Strong expertise in live sound reinforcement and audio system design </li><li>Experience supporting high-visibility executive or VIP events </li><li>Ability to operate mixers, wireless microphone systems, and DSP based audio systems </li><li>Knowledge of outdoor acoustics, portable PA deployment, and power distribution fundamentals </li><li>Exceptional problem-solving and in the moment adaptation skills </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service orientation </li><li>A collaborative approach, working well with leadership and cross-functional teams </li><li>Commitment to delivering polished, professional events that reflect institutional excellence </li></ul> This position may be subject to a criminal background screening as a condition of employment.
