Responsibilities & Requirements: Common responsibilities of the GI RN (including, not limited to): assisting physicians with endoscopic procedures, knowledge of vast amount of endo equipment, reprocessing endoscopes, specimen collection & labeling, EPIC usage for charting, pre/post care of GI patients, pushing beds & carts, lifting/positioning of patients…. ONE weekend on-call every 4th-6th weekend (Fri 5p-7a, Sat & Sun 7a-7a, 24hrs both days) *Time and a half paid for weekend hours worked in addition to weekend & shift differential!
