The primary responsibilities of this role are to: Support systems engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle; Assist with requirements development, review, traceability, and change management activities; Support verification and validation planning, execution, data collection, and reporting; Participate in engineering investigations and root cause analysis activities; Assist with risk management activities, including hazard identification, risk analysis, and risk control verification; Contribute to human factors and usability engineering activities, including test preparation and analysis; Analyze test data and prepare engineering summaries and technical reports; Support design reviews and cross-functional project meetings; Work in laboratory and office environments to develop practical solutions to engineering challenges; Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Systems Engineering organization; Assist with technical documentation required for regulated medical device development. Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor''s or master''s degree program in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; Completion of sophomore year or higher; Ability to work full-time during the Co-op assignment; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work effectively in a team environment; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
