Responsibilities: • Ensure hospice follows all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, including; • Compliance, maintenance and submission of all required reports and records to Federal, State, accreditation, and Local regulatory departments • Maintaining accreditation, when applicable • Maintaining a state of survey readiness • Provide leadership and oversight to support growth through strategic implementation of relationship expansion plans in collaboration with the Business Development teams • Manage overall financial performance of the program site which includes oversight of all controllable costs • Participate in annual development of the program site's budget • Organizes, manages, and administers hospice resources to provide hospice care and services to patients, families, and caregivers necessary for the palliation and management of the terminal illness and related conditions • Is responsible for the day-to-day hospice operations • Ensure the hospice offers a coordinated plan of care for all patients/families while maintaining overall management of care • Ensures care provided optimizes the patient and family's comfort and dignity • Ensures care provided is consistent with patient and family needs and goals, with the patient's needs and goals as a priority.
