Directs Medicare Part D financial operations, including annual bid development with the Organization's actuary, prescription drug event data integrity, DIR reporting, annual reconciliation, pharmacy benefit manager financial terms, the Part D reserve, and the financial effects of Medicare drug pricing programs, including the Maximum Fair Price and Manufacturer Discount programs, on the bid, pharmacy reimbursement, and cash flow. Directs and oversees the Information Technology function, including the IT Manager and Virtual Chief Information Officer, to ensure the security, reliability, and effectiveness of the Organization's technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity safeguards, business continuity planning, user support, and strategic technology planning, including governance of digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence initiatives in partnership with Process Improvement.
