Duties / Responsibilities: • Build / repair belts and conveyor belt components • Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting • Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain stock area, follows sales orders • Attention to detail • Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition • Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies • Perform duties to fabricate, install and repair conveyor belting • Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved • Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment • Detect and report defective equipment, material and any improper operations or unusual conditions • Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations; maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition • Always represent Belt Power in a professional manner. Job Requirements: Work is physically strenuous, and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds Work may require excessive bending or stooping Overtime and weekend work may be required May involve travel Employee required to sit and drive a vehicle to perform the job Employee required to climb ladders Employee required to use hand tools Employee uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift) Employee required to organize and coordinate schedules Employee required to calibrate precise measurements Employee required to problem solve.
