Maintains the proper use of chemicals such as disinfectants, sanitizers, and cleaning compounds to differentiate in their use in cleaning floors, toilets, etc., as opposed to food preparation and handling areas where improper cleaning methods will contaminate food prep surfaces and equipment. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, classrooms, labs, hallways, lavatories, including stripping, washing, and waxing floors, vacuuming, emptying wastebaskets, dry mopping walls, furniture, etc. and performing other custodial duties as required.
