Maintains, installs, and repairs complex irrigation systems, pump stations, irrigation pumps and irrigation wells in City Parks; activates and deactivates water systems; orders and purchases pipe, fittings, and repair parts; troubleshoots and repairs irrigation electrical problems including time clocks, transformers, and valve wires. Operates a variety of equipment including tractor, front-end loader, various mowing equipment up to 16' area mowers, backhoe, trencher, blower, broom, snow plow, compaction equipment, dump truck, wood chipper, trash truck, bobcat, rock picker, and similar equipment while performing various assignments.
