Performs preventive maintenance, adjustments, and basic repairs on piping and plumbing systems including fixtures, electric mechanicals, instrumentation, and automation equipment steam and process hot water systems including control and isolation valves, steam traps, heat exchangers, pumps, and associated equipment; process equipment including tunnel washers, rack washers, bottle washers, autoclaves, bedding dispensers and drying cabinets, water treatment systems, etc. The Jackson Laboratory is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution with a National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center and nearly 3,000 employees in locations across the United States (Maine, Connecticut, California), Japan and China.
