Recognize and educate staff that managing patient care is a team effort that involves clinical and nonclinical staff (e.g., physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, educators, front desk staff, schedulers, etc.) interacting with patients to achieve stated objectives. Vaccine Management role includes: Provides direct patient care, meticulous documentation, ensures proper vaccine storage and handling, provides patient education about immunizations, and adherence to public health protocols and collaboration with others for the efficient and safe delivery of shots.
