Ability to stand and/or walk 60% of the time • Ability to assist in lifting patients over 100lbs occasionally and frequently lifting equipment and other items up to 25lbs • Ability to frequently stoop, crouch and/or reach below, at, or above shoulder level for short periods of time • Manual dexterity, ability to concentrate, and good eye-hand coordination required • Vision requiring near and far acuity, depth perception, and an ability to adjust focus and maintain a good field of vision is required for patient assessment, observation, treatment and documentation • Mental, Physical, and emotional abilities to respond to emergency situations • Written and spoken communication skills require the ability to speak, hear and see • Critical thinking and good judgment needed to be able to follow Federal, State and hospital policies and procedures. Physicians in this role practice full-spectrum family medicine, including: • Comprehensive outpatient primary care for adults and children • Preventive care and chronic disease management • Same-day acute care visits when hospital coverage allows • Inpatient rounding and hospital admissions • Collaboration with emergency, surgical, and specialty services • Hospital follow-up care and care coordination • Opportunities may exist to incorporate additional services based on physician training and interest, such as women's health, procedural care, etc.
