Cardiac telemetry, arrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedures (MI, catheterization, angiogram), chest tube management, neuro stepdown, pre/post neurosurgery care, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic trauma, total joint replacement, IV therapy and insulin protocols, PCA management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, feeding tube management, surgical drain care, renal failure management, and isolation precautions. Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience; must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (80% passing score with specific criteria for lethal rhythms and heart blocks).
