To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience: Education, training, and/or experience in automotive, heavy vehicle, and/or construction equipment maintenance, repair, and diagnosis or another closely related mechanical field demonstrating competency in rebuilding vehicles and heavy equipment; identifying and correcting equipment problems; using specialized tools and repair methods; and managing acquisition, storage, and distribution of parts and supplies. Work includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, evaluating overall conditions, and performing skilled technical tasks in testing, installing, repairing, rebuilding, rewiring, replacing, and/or fabricating parts for a variety of heavy vehicle, automotive, and construction equipment.
