Prepare project checkbooks, with input from the project manager, that accurately reflect monthly and yearly budgets, forecasts of future spend, and actual monthly expenditures, process approved Project Change Requests (PCRs) to update budgets in the project checkbook tool that is updated monthly and used to support monthly project financial debriefs, and routinely review and analyze assigned checkbooks to identify missing or incomplete project data, including authorization history, milestone dates, Form 4s, contract and requisition numbers, and risk and opportunities sheets. Perform Ad-hoc analysis and special projects relevant to financial controls: Focused area assessments (FASAs), benchmarking visits / studies, business plan initiatives, procedure revisions or new procedure creation, and training sessions.
