As the facility training officer (FTO), the incumbents primary duty will be to develop, implement, oversee, and monitor initial and annual training and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) certification/re-certification for all federal staff at IHSC-staffed facilities as assigned. Oversees accreditation readiness, compliance training, risk management, quality improvement, infection control, emergency preparedness, BLS certification, fit testing, training records, reporting, and special Health Operations Unit projects.
