OdessaProvide basic physical labor associated with the placement and finishing of concrete. Finished product must conform to the architectural specifications and be completed using established principles of structural concrete. Assists gunite crew with set up and break down of jobsites to include protection of the environment and surrounding property.In training, transition to become a Top Finisher.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure Safety
Report to work on time when scheduled.
Safely operates power equipment and hand tools while performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety standards and established principles of structural concrete.
Assists gunite crew with placement of plastic to protect area surrounding equipment and work areas.
Assists gunite crew in set up and break down of jobsite tools and equipment.
Works to insure that the finished product meets the architectural specifications.Skills and Job Knowledge Level1 year of prior Bottom Finisher experience preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to the construction industry.
Working knowledge of the methods, materials, and tools used in the construction industry.
Skill in operation of tools and equipment.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
Basic understanding of the fundamental principles of structural concrete.

 Seeking full-time professional finisher with a minimum of 3 years experience working with very high quality products in a commercial architectural millwork company. Must have documented experience in spraying lacquers, varnishes, and stains using computerized machinery.   Job Duties Include: <ul><li>Making samples for customer approval (mixing and matching paints and stains to match existing samples)</li><li>Prep work (final sanding, filing, quality control)</li><li>Mixing (color formulas, knowing proper chemical ratios)</li><li>Quality Spraying (between coat sanding, keeping color consistent with the sample)</li><li>Maintain an organized work area with daily clean-up of equipment</li><li>Inventory (informing shop manager when materials are needed before running out)</li></ul>Specific skills and abilities sought: <ul><li>Current drivers license and reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to work overtime to ensure projects are completed on time</li><li>Experience using AAA spray equipment</li><li>Experience using conversion varnishes/catalyzed lacquers</li><li>Experience using stains/dyes</li><li>Experience running spray line equipment</li><li>Experience mixing/matching colors</li><li>Cabinetry building experience is not required, but a plus</li></ul>Good work ethic and pride in your work is a must! Lack of respect for our equipment is grounds for termination. Must be a team player and be willing to help out in other areas of the shop if necessary. Typical 8-hour workday with Overtime required on occasion.   Salary commensurate with experience and work habits.
