 SUMMARY:  Assembles aluminum boats and/or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at a bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor by performing the following duties.  WORK ETHIC REQUIREMENTS: A high level of personal dependability, the ability to work effectively as a member of a team, a readiness to learn and assist in other jobs, a high aptitude for quality, as well as a high regard for the safety of self and others.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Positions and installs assemblies, sub-assemblies and parts following diagrams or blueprints. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.  Uses jigs, screws, rivets, glue, tape and various other fasteners to install parts.  Removes small quantities of metal with hand files, shears or other tools to achieve optimal fit.  Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation. Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.  Other duties as assigned.
