Individuals will perform tasks involving commercial construction projects in the SLC, Ogden, & Provo Utah area. Essential Functions: (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.)<ul><li>Be able to smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete such as floors, walks, curb/gutter using a variety of hand and power tools.</li><li>Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards</li><li>Be willing to work in somewhat extreme weather conditions</li><li>Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. The Metal Finisher (Grinder) prepares aerospace metal components by grinding, deburring, and finishing parts to meet quality and surface-finish specifications. This role supports production by ensuring parts are safe, clean, and ready for assembly or shipment. Location: North Salt Lake, UTSchedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pmPay Rate: $17-$20 Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Grind, sand, and deburr metal parts using hand and power tools</li><li>Remove sharp edges, weld spatter, and surface defects</li><li>Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met</li><li>Assist with material handling and general shop support</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area</li><li>Follow all safety and quality procedures</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with metal finishing or grinding preferred</li><li>Comfortable using hand and power tools</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work</li><li>Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented</li></ul>
