This is a hands-on role focused on concrete placement, forming, and finishing, along with operating heavy equipment to support a variety of concrete projects.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Perform all aspects of concrete work including forming, pouring, placing, and finishing.</li><li>Assist with layout, grading, and site preparation for concrete flatwork, pads, and curbs.</li><li>Operate concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing equipment.</li><li>Safely operate skid steers, backhoes, and other machinery to support concrete installation.</li><li>Ensure proper curing, finishing techniques, and overall quality of concrete work.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.</li><li>Accurately document materials used, hours worked, and site conditions.</li><li>Transport equipment and materials to job sites as needed (CDL required).</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li>2+ years of hands-on concrete experience (forming, pouring, and finishing required).</li><li>Experience operating construction and concrete equipment.</li><li>Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.</li><li>Strong understanding of concrete practices, job site safety, and OSHA standards.</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor (standing, kneeling, bending).</li><li>Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or extended shifts.</li></ul><h3><strong>What We Offer:</strong></h3><ul><li>Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities.</li><li>Company vehicle and equipment provided for job-related tasks.</li><li>Health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay.</li><li>Strong team environment with a focus on craftsmanship, quality, and safety.</li></ul><p>Looking to advance your career in the service field? This role involves the operation of diverse manufacturing support processes within a specific work cell. This position is for nights 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM.</p><p>Additionally, the Metal Finisher will:</p><ul><li>Completes brazing processes and other bonding techniques.</li><li>Set up and operate various manufacturing process equipment (heat treat ovens, precision cleaning, polishing, laser I.D, Expander machine, pressure test, and power flush).</li><li>Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks and other irregularities from machined parts to ensure they are in accordance with engineering blueprints, and tolerance requirements.</li><li>Complete inspection and/or test related activities to ensure that parts are machined in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications.</li><li>Uses a variety of hand tools, shears, grinders, drills, saws, tube bending and flaring equipment, Tube threading, and other items to be used in assembly.</li><li>Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained.</li><li>Clean, organize and maintain cellular manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards.</li><li>Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>High School or GED required</li><li>2+ years of experience manufacturing small precision parts completing the following processes preferred:</li><li>Pressure testing, deburring, polishing, cleaning and identifying parts is required.</li><li>Applying braze alloy is a plus.</li><li>Basic lathe and mill operations is a plus.</li><li>Must be able to read, understand and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings and follow planning instructions.</li><li>Familiar with GD&T specifications and capable of performing basic inspections based on engineering drawings.</li><li>Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators etc.</li><li>Attention to detail, ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.</li><li>Demonstrates strong organizational and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).</li><li>U.S. Citizenship status required.</li><li>Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
